About

Cappella Martialis

Cappella Martialis (Latin for “Tuesday Singing Group”) began in 2011 as a collective enthused about lesser-known gems of the early choral tradition. They will perform pieces reflective of churches in 16th- and 17th-century Southeast and East Asia.

Church of Saints Peter & Paul Cantonese Choir

The Cantonese Catholic Community, which largely migrated from Hong Kong to Singapore in the late 80s to mid-90s, has been centred at the Church of Saints Peter & Paul for more than 15 years under the auspices of Fr Anselm Phang, their Spiritual Director. They will perform Cantonese choir music in the Christianity in Asia exhibition.

HALMM

HALMM sings at the Church of the Holy Spirit on Saturday evenings. Devoted to the creation of beauty through music, to foster serenity and peace in a noisy and hectic world, they will perform motets of the 16th through 18th century with a guest organist.
