A Digital future and what it means for Singapore by Dr Bicky Bhangu

Dr Bicky Bhangu will explain recent advancements in technology, and how they are set to change everything, from travel and healthcare to manufacturing and entertainment. He will also give an overview of how Singapore's focus on innovation and connectivity will help build skills and infrastructure that will drive the country's position as a global leader in digital technology.

About the speaker
Dr Bicky Bhangu is Regional Director for South East Asia and Pacific at Rolls-Royce, where he applies the power of technology to solve customer problems and nurture international business collaboration. His PhD in Advanced Machines and Drives is from the University of Sheffield. He is currently Adjunct Associate Professor at the Division of Power Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. As an engineer, Bicky was involved in designing and building some of the world’s most complex engines. In 2009, he was awarded the Sir Henry Royce Award for Technical Innovation for his work on integrated power and propulsion systems.
